Baby Gabi

A few weeks ago my best friend contacted me about taking pictures of her newborn niece. Her sister and her girlfriend were only going to be in town for a few more days, so we scrambled to get together for a session! Even though Gabi cried almost the whole time (she was having a diva moment), she was still too precious for words! Emily and Karla are going to be great mommies! I’m so glad I got to spend time with their little family! Here are my faves of the day! Congrats to Emily and Karla!

The Jenkins Family

A few weeks ago, I got together with a friend from highschool, Lakyn, to take pictures of her family. We went to Garfield Park in Indianapolis to roam the grounds and play at the playground. I’ve used Garfield Park in the past for a photoshoot and really love the area. They have a beautiful conservatory and sunken garden that they use for events (the wait list for weddings is two years long!). I’d taken pictures of Lakyn and Aaron’s son, Ethan, a little over a year ago when Lakyn was pregnant with her second baby. It was fun to see Lillian for the first time and catch up with my little buddy Ethan. Everyone was feeling very photogenic, even though Ethan told his mom in the car that he wouldn’t be getting out to take any pictures! Haha! Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Tessa and Phil E-Session

Last weekend I met up with my good friend Tessa and her fiance Phil for an e-session downtown Indianapolis around White River State Park. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun! I’d found so many adorable ideas for couples pictures on Pinterest and was so excited to try them all out! Tessa and Phil were awesome sports and SO photogenic! Here are some of my faves from the day!

Kari and Jordan 5.12.12

Last month I had the pleasure of shooting Kari and Jordan’s gorgeous wedding at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelbyville, IN. I went to school with Kari’s and Jordan’s brothers, so it was really fun to catch up with everyone. The day was beautiful, with perfect weather and so much love. Kari and Jordan have such fun family and friends! I was so please with the images I caught from the day!
